Flood at Yarmouth Regional Hospital Building C

Approximately 21 patient appointments were rescheduled Thursday due to a flood affecting five floors in Building C at Yarmouth Regional Hospital.

The flood was the result of a frozen and burst pipe, causing the greatest damage to Rehabilitation Services, Breast Health booking and Clinical Engineering. An incident management team is on site and clean up has begun. Relocation of programs and services impacted by the flood is underway.

Patients with appointments in Rehabilitation Services have been contacted directly. Anyone who has questions about their appointment, please call that program or service directly.

NSHA apologizes for any inconvenience this causes to patients and families.
