Nova Scotia Health Authority invites media, public to 2019 annual general meeting in Truro


HALIFAX, N.S. – Diversity, engagement, research, equity and collaboration – these are just a few of the foundational elements that will inform Nova Scotia Health Authority’s renewed strategic plan for 2019-22, which will be shared at NSHA’s annual general meeting.

With an aging population and one of the highest provincial rates of chronic diseases, the work before us isn’t easy. However, with a focus on Quality through Caring, NSHA is working with partners to address challenges and improve health outcomes.

Join us for our annual general meeting July 10 at the Truro Holiday Inn, located at 437 Prince St., as we share highlights from the 2018-19 fiscal year and our renewed strategic plan for 2019-22.

From 4 to 4:45 p.m., join us for a reception and poster exhibit showcasing some of our most innovative work this year.

From 4:50 to 6 p.m., hear remarks from NSHA Board Chair Frank van Schaayk, as well as NSHA President and CEO Janet Knox, as part of our business meeting.
