Nova Scotia Health Authority reassures Neils Harbour community that Buchanan Memorial Hospital laboratory services are still being delivered

HALIFAX, N.S. – Nova Scotia Health Authority (NSHA) is reassuring the community of Neils Harbour that laboratory services at Buchanan Memorial Hospital are not closing and will continue to be delivered.
“We recognize the importance of the hospital services delivered at this site for all residents and visitors who are North of Cape Smokey,” NSHA President and CEO Janet Knox said.
NSHA understands the community’s concerns and is committed to ensuring a high quality, sustainable service that provides the patients we serve with timely access.
To support service delivery at this site, we are recruiting for a medical laboratory technologist and other staff members.
