  • The emergency department at Musquodobit Valley Memorial Hospital is closed, reopening at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18

Monday, Jan. 20:

  • The emergency department at Eastern Shore Memorial Hospital is closed, reopening at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 21

  • Glace Bay Hospital's emergency department reopens at 7 a.m. It also closes at 4 p.m. and reopens on Monday, Jan. 20 at 7 a.m.
  • Victoria County Memorial Hospital's emergency department closes at 6 p.m. It reopens on Saturday, Jan. 18 at 8 a.m.
  • Northside General Hospital's emergency department is closed until Thursday, Jan. 23 at 8 a.m.  
  • Eastern Memorial Hospital's emergency department is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and closed overnight.
  • New Waterford Consolidated Hospital's emergency department is closed for facility maintenance. It will reopen when work is completed in March 2020.
  • X-ray service at New Waterford Consolidated Hospital is closed for facility maintenance. It will reopen when work is completed in March 2020. People needing walk-in X-ray service can go to Glace Bay Hospital or Northside General Hospital between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday to Friday (except holidays) or they can go to the Cape Breton Regional Hospital between 1 and 3 p.m. Monday to Friday (except holidays).
